Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites--commonly referred to as acupuncture points, or acupoints. The most common method used to stimulate acupoints is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin, other acupoint stimulation techniques include: manual massage, moxibustion or heat therapy, cupping, and the application of topical herbal medicines and linaments. Herbal therapy may also be part of the treatment if needed.

Anthea earned her Master’s in Chinese Medicine in 2006, in Austin, TX, and has been practicing in the city of Seattle since 2009. Anthea strives to support balance in her patient’s lives so that they can then go do their good in the world.
